MY STORY

I’ve always had a deep desire to create.

I was born in Piatra Neamț, a mountain town in northeastern Romania, and spent most of my summers with my grandparents near Humulesti. My grandmother was a village seamstress, and I remember how excited I was to use her leftover fabrics to sew tiny clothes for my dolls. That love for crafting followed me into adolescence, when I occasionally made clothes for myself as a form of creative expression.

Although I hold a degree in finance and accounting and spent many years working in those fields, my creative passion never faded. After turning 30, I felt the strong call to return to what made me feel alive: making art. I began studying handmade jewelry in Bucharest and enrolled in the Carmen Saeculare Art School in Piatra Neamț, where I explored painting. I also pursued courses in personal and spiritual development — including Reiki, Theta Healing, and crystal therapy — which deeply influenced my creative journey.

These experiences led to the creation of Magic Crystals Jewels, a personal project where I design jewelry with raw crystals for those who feel connected to their energy. Using the wire wrapping technique — especially with copper, stainless steel, and silver — I craft unique settings that bring out the natural beauty of each stone. It’s challenging, but incredibly rewarding, especially when I see the joy these pieces bring to others.

In 2021, as the world reopened, I deepened my studies through courses at Assamblage – Contemporary Jewelry School in Bucharest. Taught by respected contemporary jewelry designers, these courses introduced me to both traditional and modern techniques. I fell in love with working in metal and began learning more about the art of making jewelry — investing in tools, materials, and countless hours of practice.

In spring 2022, I joined their Contemporary Jewelry Design course, where I created my first full jewelry collection. That collection was selected for Romanian Jewelry Week 2022 — a dream come true, and my first step into the amazing world of contemporary jewelry design.

Today, I continue to grow, create, and learn — and I can’t wait to see where the next chapter of this journey takes me.

birth, love, transformation, nature, and memory.

My work is often influenced by sculpture, painting, and geometry, reflecting the balance between structure and emotion.

A Living Process
